Myntra Names Ex-Google Engineering Head Pramod Adiddam as CTO to Bolster Technology Team

Fashion e‑commerce firm Myntra has appointed Pramod Adiddam as its Chief Technology Officer, signalling a renewed focus on technology-led scale and innovation as the company seeks to consolidate its leadership in India’s competitive online fashion market.

Experienced technology leader to steer platform strategy

As CTO, Adiddam will set Myntra’s technology vision, oversee engineering teams and ensure the platform remains robust, scalable and customer‑centric. He will report to CEO Nandita Sinha and be responsible for aligning engineering priorities with Myntra’s business and growth objectives.

Global engineering background

Adiddam joins Myntra with more than two decades of experience building and managing large‑scale technology platforms. His prior roles include senior engineering leadership at Google, where he worked on systems designed for millions of users, gaining expertise in scalability, reliability and performance engineering.

He also served as Vice President and Head of Engineering at Instacart, leading teams that supported a high‑frequency, consumer‑facing commerce platform. That mix of global‑scale and fast‑growth consumer internet experience is expected to deepen Myntra’s technical capabilities.

Priorities: platform resilience, personalisation and reach

Myntra has been investing in technology to improve discovery, personalise recommendations, speed up payments and optimise logistics. With millions of shoppers across India, the company views engineering as central to delivering seamless mobile experiences and reliable service—especially as it expands into tier‑II and tier‑III cities.

Under Adiddam’s leadership, Myntra is likely to focus on strengthening platform architecture, data systems and the application of intelligent technologies to better understand consumer preferences and improve conversion and retention.

Leadership change and strategic intent

The appointment follows the departure of previous senior technology leaders and marks a new organisational phase. By recruiting an executive with extensive global exposure, Myntra is signalling its intent to build future‑ready systems that can handle scale while remaining agile amid rapid changes in the e‑commerce landscape.

India’s fashion e‑commerce segment is intensifying in competition, with firms differentiating through speed, selection and personalisation. Strengthening the technology backbone is therefore critical for Myntra to sustain growth and improve profitability over the long term.
