Preventive healthcare startup CENT has launched its first clinic in Bengaluru, aiming to spot serious illnesses at their earliest stages. The clinic offers comprehensive screening that targets heart, cancer, neurological and metabolic diseases, using advanced imaging and laboratory tests combined with data-driven analysis.
Origins and mission
CENT was founded by Shashank ND, with co‑founders Arpit Garg and Anshul Khandelwal. The idea grew after Shashank experienced late‑stage cancer losses in his family. The founders say the goal is to detect disease at “Stage 0” or “Stage 1,” when intervention can be most effective.
Screening approach and technology
The company follows a protocol called CCNM, focusing on four high‑impact health areas. The core package includes whole‑body MRI, CT calcium scoring, DEXA bone density, ECG and more than 120 blood and urine tests.
All findings are processed through AI‑enabled analytics that screen for over 300 conditions. Patients receive a Tru10 score, a detailed organ‑wise risk profile designed to help clinicians prioritise follow‑up and treatment.
Early results
- CENT reports it has completed roughly 1,500–2,000 scans in its initial phase.
- About 26% of screened individuals required medical follow‑up.
- Approximately 3–4% were found to have conditions needing immediate care.
Funding, pricing and expansion
The startup has raised about $5 million in seed capital from investors including OneFlow Holdings and South Park Commons. CENT reports monthly growth of roughly 50% and an annual revenue run rate near $2 million.
The Koramangala facility is dedicated solely to preventive screening rather than routine diagnostics. CENT has partnered with Siemens Healthineers to enhance imaging capabilities. The main Scan X package is priced at ₹27,500; a genetic test add‑on is offered at the same price.
The company plans to expand to Mumbai, Delhi‑NCR, Pune and Hyderabad over time, aiming to widen access to early detection services across India.
