Borivali selected to broaden suburban reach

Industry sources indicate the new Mumbai store will likely open at Oberoi Sky City Mall in Borivali. The proposed ground-floor location would provide strong street visibility and easier access for suburban shoppers, enabling Apple to reach customers who rarely travel to South Mumbai or central business districts.

Locating a flagship-format store in Borivali aligns with Apple’s aim to diversify its geographic footprint in Indian metros and tap a wider demographic of prospective buyers.

Since launching its first India store at Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex, Apple has added outlets in Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune and Noida.
