Aquapulse Raises ₹25 Crore Series A from NABVENTURES to Scale Tech-Driven Aquaculture Platform in India

Aquapulse has raised ₹25 crore in a Series A round led by NABVENTURES, underscoring growing investor interest in India’s aquaculture and agritech sectors as fish and shrimp farming expand across coastal and semi-urban regions.

Aquapulse to scale operations and upgrade technology

The fresh capital will be deployed to expand operations, enhance the company’s technology platform and deepen its presence in key aquaculture hubs. Aquapulse says the funding will help make farming more efficient, organised and profitable for small and medium aquaculture producers.

A data-driven approach for farmers

Founded in 2022 by brothers Abhishek and Abhilash Dwivedy, Aquapulse develops AI-driven tools and data insights aimed at everyday challenges faced by fish and shrimp farmers. Its platform monitors pond conditions, assesses disease risk and helps optimise feed usage.

By supplementing traditional knowledge with real-time analytics, the startup enables farmers to take more informed decisions, which can translate into improved yields and reduced losses.

Building a pond-to-port ecosystem

Beyond on-farm monitoring, Aquapulse offers post-harvest services including grading, logistics and market linkages. These services are designed to connect producers with buyers at fair prices and reduce inefficiencies across the seafood supply chain.

With the new funding, the company plans to scale its farmer network across India and promote sustainable aquaculture practices, aiming to strengthen the sector’s long-term productivity and market integration as domestic and global seafood demand rises.
