Myntra has appointed Pramod Adiddam as Chief Technology Officer, reinforcing its technology leadership as the fashion e-commerce player seeks to scale operations, deepen personalisation and enhance platform reliability across India’s competitive online retail market.
Role and reporting
As CTO, Adiddam will define Myntra’s technology vision, lead engineering teams and oversee platform architecture to ensure scalability, reliability and a consumer-centric experience. He will report to CEO Nandita Sinha and will be responsible for aligning tech investments with the company’s growth and business objectives.
Experience and background
Adiddam brings over two decades of experience building and managing large-scale technology platforms. He has held senior engineering roles at Google, where he worked on systems serving millions of users, gaining deep expertise in performance-driven engineering, scalability and reliability.
He also served as Vice President and Head of Engineering at Instacart, leading teams that powered a high-frequency, consumer-facing commerce platform. His combined experience across global tech companies and fast-growing consumer internet firms is expected to strengthen Myntra’s engineering bench.
Technology priorities
Myntra has been investing in technology to improve discovery, personalisation, payments, logistics and post-purchase experiences. Under Adiddam’s leadership, the company is expected to bolster platform architecture, data systems and the application of intelligent technologies to better understand consumer preferences.
Such investments are particularly important as Myntra expands into tier-II and tier-III cities, where mobile performance, reliability and low-latency experiences are critical for customer acquisition and retention.
Leadership transition and strategic intent
The appointment follows the exit of Myntra’s previous senior technology leaders and signals a strategic push to build future-ready systems that balance scale with agility. In India’s intensely competitive fashion e-commerce segment, technology differentiation—on speed, selection and personalised experiences—remains a key lever for market leadership.
Building for sustainable growth
With improving revenue growth and profitability metrics, Myntra is focused on long-term technology capabilities that support innovation at scale. Adiddam’s mandate will include ensuring platform resilience, security and an enhanced user experience that meets evolving expectations of Indian shoppers.
