Bengaluru-based home services startup Pronto has secured $25 million (about ₹228.9 crore) in a Series B round led by Epiq Capital, with participation from existing investors including Glade Brook Capital, General Catalyst and Bain Capital Ventures. The capital will accelerate the company’s expansion of rapid, app-based domestic help across India’s major urban centres.
Fast follow-up funding underscores investor confidence
The Series B comes six months after Pronto’s $11 million Series A, signalling strong investor confidence in its on-demand household services model. The round also reflects broader momentum in India’s gig economy, particularly for platforms that connect households with trained, verified professionals for routine chores.
10-minute services for routine household tasks
Founded in 2025 by Anjali Sardana, Pronto targets the gap between informal household help and structured, technology-enabled services. The platform offers 10-minute task options and short-duration bookings for sweeping, mopping, utensil washing, laundry assistance, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, among other chores. Customers can book instantly, schedule services for later, or set up recurring visits.
Pronto reports rapid demand growth since launch: daily bookings rose from about 1,000 to more than 18,000 within seven months, expanding at better than 20% week-on-week. This traction highlights a growing urban preference for quick, dependable solutions that fit busy lifestyles.
Geographic reach and workforce standards
The startup operates in Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru and Mumbai and now covers 10 cities with over 150 micromarkets. It works with thousands of on-ground professionals who undergo background checks and in-person training before joining the network, a key element of its quality assurance and trust-building strategy.
Planned use of proceeds
Pronto will deploy the new funds to hire and train more service professionals, strengthen operations in current markets, and broaden service categories over the next 12–18 months. Investments will also go into technology and logistics to support a larger footprint while maintaining service quality and consistent response times.
The startup recently shifted its headquarters to Bengaluru while keeping customer support operations in Gurugram. Its core team is around 60 employees, supported by nearly 3,000 field professionals delivering services daily.
Positioning amid intense category competition
Pronto operates in a competitive home services segment where multiple players are racing to capture India’s urban demand. Several rivals have attracted significant funding, underscoring investor appetite for rapid household-help platforms.
Pronto’s combination of hyperlocal expansion, structured workforce training, and focus on short-duration tasks has helped it differentiate within the emerging 10-minute services ecosystem. As organised platforms formalise an otherwise informal sector, Pronto’s fresh capital and expanding city presence position it to scale further and influence how urban households manage daily chores.
