Snabbit has appointed Abhinav Ankur as Chief Business Officer as the home services startup accelerates expansion. Founded in 2024 by Aayush Agarwal, the platform promises on-demand household help, delivering services within 10–15 minutes in covered neighbourhoods.
Service offering and strategy
Snabbit enables customers to book cleaning, dishwashing, laundry and basic kitchen assistance via its app. With Ankur on board, the firm plans to broaden its portfolio to include home cooking, childcare and elderly care. Management is also evaluating a future push into B2B services for corporates and residential complexes.
Operational model
The company follows a quick-commerce style model, dividing cities into compact zones of roughly 700–800 metres. This micro-zoning reduces travel time and allows rapid deployment of workers. Staff work flexibly, logging into the app for shifts that suit them.
Snabbit leverages AI to forecast demand and assign the nearest available worker, keeping average travel between jobs near 250 metres. This design supports fast turnaround and higher utilisation of the workforce.
Growth, metrics and pricing
The platform has scaled quickly. By March 2026 it reported more than 1 million monthly orders, with an average user booking services about 30 times a year. Hourly prices generally range from ₹150 to ₹199, and the company collects approximately a 20% commission per booking.
Funding and expansion plans
Investors have backed the company with about $55–56 million raised in 18 months. Valuation rose from roughly $23 million in early 2025 to about $180 million later that year. Management is preparing a new funding round that could value the business near $450 million.
Snabbit currently operates in Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune, with launches planned soon in Chennai and Kolkata.
Workforce and safety
The company employs over 12,000 trained professionals, predominantly women. Safety features include an AI-driven system named “Kavach” to monitor assignments and protect both customers and workers.
